Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 47

Tell us what’s happening:

it’s asking to declare a function of padRow but when i post the answer below:
function name(padRow) {
}
it says the function should not have any parameters and should have an empty body!

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

// User Editable Region

function name(padRow) {}

// User Editable Region

for (let i = 0; i < count; i = i + 1) {
  rows.push(character.repeat(i + 1))
}

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

You don’t have a function called padRow right now. You have a function called name with a parameter of padRow.

Hope this helps.

got that eventually yes, thanks!
