Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 55

Tell us what’s happening:

I am stuck, I’ve tried (5+10) but i don’t know if I’m suppose to do this. I’ve tried a lot but not enough :frowning:

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(name) {
  return name;
}

// User Editable Region

function addTwoNumbers(sum){return sum;}
const sum = addTwoNumbers('5,10');
console.log(sum);

// User Editable Region

const call = padRow("CamperChan");
console.log(call);

for (let i = 0; i < count; i = i + 1) {
  rows.push(character.repeat(i + 1))
}

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

Welcome to the forum @amber2

For the function, you need to include two parameters.
Then, in the function body, return the two parameters with the required maths.

The function call will not work because you are calling a string, not two numbers.

Happy coding

Can you look through this explanation first on functions and then let us know if you still have questions?
