Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 90

Tell us what’s happening:

I am on Step 90 where the task is to push the result of calling padRow with done and count as the arguments to the rows array. As far as I can tell, I have done everything right, but the code is still reading as wrong. Help?

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

let continueLoop = false;
let done = 0;

while (continueLoop) {

// User Editable Region

   rows.push(padRow(done, count));

// User Editable Region

  if (done === count) {
    continueLoop = false;
  }
}

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

Welcome back to the forum @jackiechica

The done++; is missing from your code.

Please reset the step to restore the seed code, then add your coding without modifying any of the other code.

Happy coding
