Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 90

Tell us what’s happening:

It can’t pass even though I have done what it instructed me.

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

let continueLoop = false;
let done = 0;

while (continueLoop) {

// User Editable Region

  done++;
  for(let i = 1; i < count; i++) {
    rows.push(padRow(done, count));
  };

// User Editable Region

 rows.push(padRow(done, count));
  if (done === count) {
    continueLoop = false;
  }
  };

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

Challenge Information:

Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 90

I am confused which one is the user editable region but, look what the challenge wants you to do

  1. push the result of calling padRow function with the arguments done, count.
  2. to your rows array. Remember there is a push method in arrays as you have learnt in previous lessons.
    you dont need a for loop, restart the challenge and just do what the challenge has asked you to do

Hi there!

You have duplicate code. I would reset the challenge step and try it again.
