Hi i am a confused about the instruction. and it keep showing i am incorrect .

i tot there is just rows.push () without loop but also wrong.

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

let continueLoop = false;
let done = 0;

// User Editable Region

rows.push(padRow(done,count));

// User Editable Region

  if (done === count) {
    continueLoop = false;
  }
}

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + row + "\n";
}

console.log(result);

Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 90

Hi there and welcome to our community!

Your solution works from my end. Please try one of the following steps to move forward.

Click on the “Restart Step” button and force a refresh of your page with CTRL + F5 then try to paste the code in again.

or - Try the step in incognito or private mode.

or - Disable any/all extensions that interface with the freeCodeCamp website (such as Dark Mode, Ad Blockers, or Spellcheckers), and set your browser zoom level to 100%. Both of these factors can cause tests to fail erroneously.

or - Ensure your browser is up-to-date or try a different browser.

I hope one of these will work for you.

without a loop, you can’t have multiple things added to rows

also, don’t you get a syntax error? because you have of two closing } but only one {

you should reset the step and get back the loop
