please i dont know how to comment on the while loop

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

// User Editable Region

while (rows.length < count) {
  rows.push(padRow(rows.length + 1, count));
}
//comment on while loop//

// User Editable Region

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

The task is to comment the while loop itself using a multi-line comment.
Similar to how you commented out the for loop earlier in Step 77.

You just added a single-line comment after the while loop.

for single-line comment, you don’t need the // at the end
