Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 99

Tell us what’s happening:

I’ve gone through all of the most recent forums to look for similar problems but I am stuck on the initializing i in the loop.

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

/*while (rows.length < count) {
  rows.push(padRow(rows.length + 1, count));
}*/

// User Editable Region

for (false) {
  i == count
}

// User Editable Region

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

You didn’t need to add any logic to your for…loop for this challenge step

Instructions for the challenge step is:
Start by creating a new for loop. Declare your iterator i and assign it the value of count, then use the boolean false for your condition and iteration statements.

Thank you after doing some googling I found the same response. Cleared step.

It’s my pleasure. Well-done and keep it up.
