Learn localStorage by Building a Todo App - Step 14

Tell us what’s happening:

Instructions: Retrieve the values from the titleInput , dateInput , and descriptionInput fields, and then save them in the properties title , date , and description of the taskObj object.

I’m not sure why the code isn’t passing. Do you want it lowercased? Joined with hyphens? Could instructions be a bit clearer?

Your code so far

title: ${titleInput.value},
date: ${dateInput.value},
description: ${descriptionInput.value},

Hi @AlexDRichards
The object properties don’t need to be nested in template literals.

Happy coding
