when I delete the attribute it says I should have an HTML opening element with the attribute of lang and the value en, but when I add the attribute it says I should have an HTML element with !doctype HTML, I didn’t delete the doctype even when I added the attribute and without attribute
Help me please

It seems you are confusing two different things.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

The first line is the doctype element.
The second line is just an html element.

You are meant to add the lang attribute to the html element.
