I keep getting an error message that my first span should have the text ‘2019’ and it is, I can’t spot what’s the issue here.

Hello @nasciste. Upon testing your code I noticed that the test fails because you are required to wrap the year with the <span> without leaving any room for whitespaces so the opening tag should be immediately followed by the text and that should also be followed by the closing tag and not be placed on a next line. So in short the test is expecting a single line or code with no whitespaces.
