Learn More About CSS Pseudo Selectors by Building A Balance Sheet - Step 55

Tell us what’s happening:

Hello! Usually when I’ve gotten stuck it’s a spelling error or something, but I can’t work out what’s wrong here.

Instructions: " The [attribute="value"] selector targets any element that has an attribute with a specific value. Create a tr[class="total"] selector to target specifically your tr elements with the total class. Give it a bottom border of 4px double #0a0a23 and make the font bold."

I can’t work out what is wrong with what I’ve done. I have highlighted the input section at the end of CSS code - the rest of the CSS and HTML is not part of this step.

The hint it’s giving me is " You should have a tr[class="total"] selector.".

I’ve copied and pasted the selector over what I’d typed to make sure I didn’t accidentally spell it wrong, and I’ve refreshed a few times. Is there something wrong with the rest of the syntax maybe?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much! I cleared cookies and cache and that worked for me. It was driving me up the wall trying to work out if I’d typed something wrong!
