Learn Python List Comprehension By Building a Case Converter Program - Step 3

How is this not right???

Its asking for a for loop that iterates through pascal_or_camel_cased_string

def convert_to_snake_case(pascal_or_camel_cased_string):
    snake_cased_char_list = []
    for char in pascal_or_camel_cased_string:

idk why its not showing as tabbed over but both lines below the function are tabbed over in my code

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

You implemented the instructions well, but if you open the console it shows an error.

The problem is that you can’t have a for loop like this without any code in it. It needs something in there as a placeholder.
