Hello, the question says I should move the nested code from the move function to make_allowed_move function and I did so but it tell me error, please is there something else to do

Your code so far

NUMBER_OF_DISKS = 3
number_of_moves = 2**NUMBER_OF_DISKS - 1
rods = {
    'A': list(range(NUMBER_OF_DISKS, 0, -1)),
    'B': [],
    'C': []
}

        print(f'Moving disk {rods[source[-1]} from {source} to {target}')
        rods[target].append(rods[source].pop())
    else:

        rods[source].append(rods[target].pop())

        if remainder == 1:

Hi @Osei17

The following line is missing a closing square bracket.

When you fix the syntax error, you will receive an error message.

Happy coding

Hi @Osei17

Please do not ping people directly. Just ask your question, or raise your issue and the forum will respond.

The last part of the expression doesn’t have the square brackets in the correct spot.

Also, the indentation of the code may need fixing.

Happy coding

I went ahead and combined your posts for you. In the future, just reply to the original thread to add further updates.

Thanks.
