I am actually stucked here. I wrote that ‘w[a+h]’ still it shows its incorrect

Your code so far

import re

import string

def generate_password(length, nums, special_chars, uppercase, lowercase):
    # Define the possible characters for the password
    letters = string.ascii_letters
    digits = string.digits
    symbols = string.punctuation

    # Combine all characters
    all_characters = letters + digits + symbols

    while True:
        password = ''
        # Generate password
        for _ in range(length):
            password += secrets.choice(all_characters)

        constraints = [
            (nums, '')
        ]

    return password

# new_password = generate_password(8)
# print(new_password)

/* User Editable Region */

pattern = 'w[a+g=h]'
quote = 'Not all those who wander are lost.'
print(re.findall(pattern, quote))

Learn Regular Expressions by Building a Password Generator - Step 34

Don’t use the equation between square brackets []. Use only letters that follow the letter w, according to the instructions.

I am also in the same step but my problem is different .It does return what it needs to but it still gives me the error " Your pattern should use a character class to match a w followed by either h or a ."

in that line I wrote:

pattern = “w[h,a]”
quote = ‘Not all those who wander are lost.’
print(re.findall(pattern, quote))

some one please help me!

If you have a question about a specific challenge as it relates to your written code for that challenge and need some help, click the Ask for Help button located on the challenge (it looks like a question mark). This button only appears if you have tried to submit an answer at least three times.

The Ask for Help button will create a new topic with all code you have written and include a link to the challenge also. You will still be able to ask any questions in the post before submitting it to the forum.

Thank you.
