Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

Hi @abdullashahzad515 and welcome to fCC forum.
For example:
I have a variable:

variable = "Nigeria"
letters = "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"

Now let’s try

variable[0] # To pick the first letter in `Nigeria`
find() # To find the position of an item
find(variable[0])   # Finds the position of `variable[0]`
letters.find(variable[0]) # Find from letters the position of the letter indicated.

I hope this helps you.
