Tell us what’s happening:

I think that I’ve followed the instructions as well as I could but I think it might be bugged.

Your code so far

# User Editable Region

text = 'Hello World'
shift = 3
alphabet = 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'

for char in text.lower():
    index = alphabet.find(char)
    new_index = index + shift
    new_char = alphabet[new_index]
    print('char:', char, 'new_char:', new_char)

Actually your code seems correct, but it passed when I copy and paste this line from the challenge info, but I couldn’t figure what the problem is. This is the line in the challenge info, just change it and it will pass.

print('char:', char, 'new char:', new_char)
