You didn’t say what your error was, but try putting a space after each colon in this line

These tests are very fussy about spacing

Took me a couple of minutes. You’re supposed to have the
last print function outside of the else code block. So it would be:

for char in text.lower():
    if char == ' ':
        encrypted_text += char
    else:
        index = alphabet.find(char)
        new_index = index + shift
        encrypted_text += alphabet[new_index]
    print('char:', char, 'encrypted text:', encrypted_text)

Pretty annoying not gonna lie.
