Learn String Manipulation by Building a Cipher - Step 45

I feel like my code is correct. I’ve tried different variations of spacing and I almost certain there are no syntax errors so im confused why my code doesnt pass. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your code so far

/* User Editable Region */

text = 'Hello Zaira'
shift = 3
alphabet = 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'
encrypted_text = ''

for char in text.lower():
    if char == ' ':
        encrypted_text += char
    else:
        index = alphabet.find(char)
        new_index = (index + shift) % len(alphabet)
        encrypted_text += alphabet[new_index]

print('plaintext:', text)
print('encrypted text:', encrypted_text)

/* User Editable Region */
