Call your function passing text and custom_key as the arguments. Store the return value of the function call in a variable called encryption.

The return statement at the end of the else statement will halt execution of any of the following code.

  1. delete the return statement line
  2. the encryption variable and assignment value need to be on the same line
  3. the new variable needs to be outside the body of the function.
