Describe your issue in detail here.

Your code so far

this exercise requires class= frame it’s done , however the second requirement is add .canvas element nested under the div element . I have done it even added as class jus to find out if it will work.

I try out like :
-div class=“frame”–/dive-
-div-
-.class–/.class-
-/div-

also

-div class=“frame”–/dive-

-div-.class
-/div-

/* file: styles.css */
.canvas {
  width: 500px;
  height: 600px;
  background-color: #4d0f00;
}
<!-- file: index.html -->
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="UTF-8">
    <title>Rothko Painting</title>
    <link href="./styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <div class="frame">
    </div>
    <div class=".canvas"></div>

  </body>

Challenge: Learn the CSS Box Model by Building a Rothko Painting - Step 11

I’m seeing a couple of problems:

  1. The challenge is asking you to wrap the div element with the class “canvas” with a div element that has the class “frame”. Your closing tag for your .frame div element needs to be after your .canvas div element.

  2. When specifying a class for a given element, you don’t need to precede the class with a period.

<div class="panda"></div>

Notice how there is no period before the word panda.
