The hint when I get it wrong is saying “You should set the filter property to blur(2px)” but thats what I have.

Look at the example in the challenge. Notice how its in the p tag between the {} braces. Now look at your code. See the issue? You added unnecessary {} braces. The filter needs to be inside your canvas element underneath the over flow style, and get rid of the extra braces you added
