Hello! You did not need to make a new .canvas with selector to complete the lesson. It only required you to use the filter property to blur with (2px). Once you remove the second .canvas, along with the selector, you should pass the lesson. You have the correct idea, just a slight misunderstanding. I did the same thing, before. :slight_smile: Happy coding!
