Its difficult to help without seeing your attempt :frowning:

I can only assume what you may be having trouble with.

When placing the span element, are you placing it beneath the ‘closing’ tag of the .left-containter element, or within it?

Whats wrong?

you are misplacing your elements.

each tag has an opening <tag> and closing </tag> tag.

when elements are embedded we use indentation to make it easier to see where one element starts and another begins.

the question asks for a <p> element to be placed after the element with the class small-text
This part you have in the correct place.

the second part asks you to place a <span> element after the element with a class of left-container

You have placed it inside the left container class element

The boxed area is the ‘left-container’ element

It wants you to place the span AFTER this elements closing tag </div>
