Challenge: Learn Typography by Building a Nutrition Label - Step 43

Link to the challenge:

almost there :slight_smile:

your having trouble with this bit:
" Finally, nest the Total Fat span element and the text 8g in an additional span element for alignment."

it wants you to surround one element and some text with another span

Actually it’s still saying ;“One span element should wrap the total fat”

can you past in your last try?

use three backtics ``` above and bellow your code.
if you cant find backtic on your keyboard type Alt+096

It’s the same as the one above,It’s clearly aligned.
Help me in a way that I can come up on my own.

sometimes instructions are very specific.
" Finally, nest the Total Fat span element and the text 8g in an additional span element for alignment."

to nest, is to surround with.
eg:
<p> dummy text </p>
If I was to nest the p element in a span It could become this
<span><p> dummy text </p></span>

It wants you to nest two things inside the last span. one element and some text

My code has changed to

now it asks to create a new p element at the end of .daily-value.

Just like you mentioned but the it asked something else now.

??? it would be easier if I can see your most recent code :confused:

It sounds like you may want to refresh the step your own, sometimes during editing code can be deleted, and it only takes one semicolon to mess it up XD

try refreshing, then go through the step one bit at a time.

If it still wont pass, use the ask for help to create a new post.

refreshed nope and check new post

Its not going to help if I keep sending you the last step XD

so I’m going to give you a similar example for you to examine:

example code start:

<p>
    <span class="test">dummy text</span>
    dummy text
    <span class="test"></span>
</p>

example step:
nest the first span and text ‘dummy text’ in another span

example end:

<p>
    <span>
        <span class="test">dummy text</span>
        dummy text
    </span>
    <span class="test"></span>
</p>

I got the answer
Mod edit: removed solution
thank me later hahahaha

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.
