I don’t understand why my line of code isn’t working, do I need to place the new p line somewhere else in the code? Some one please point me in the right direction here I’ve been stuck for a day now and none of the other forum posts are helping. Thanks so much in advance.

Thank you so much for such a quick response! And thank you happy to be here :slight_smile: Wow that was it, dang man, why would that have to be deleted in order for the code to pass? Just trying to understand the semantics of it ya know?

Because your previous div element is closed, and the parent div element which contains all the given code in this challenge, is also closed. That one closing</div> tag in question, doesn’t belong to any element in your HTML code:

Thanks you so much! I had the same issue, & also went through all the forum things. The directions on that one are unclear…first I had issues with the spaces, & the ‘align’ & then the extra div. Thanks so much!
