Learning anything

Hey guys, I have a quick question. Every time I learn something new, it’s very hard. Because I don’t get an image about what I’m reading (In the challenges on fCF). So I read it, but don’t understand it. Is there someone with the same problem, or rather a solution? It takes a lot of time and research online to actually understand what they’re explaining, before I can complete the simple challenges.

If there’s someone with a solution, tips, or some tricks that helped you make it easier for yourself please let me know. If it’s just how learning this works, also let me know

Thanks in advance!

It does take effort to learn something new and you should be searching for other resources that explain it in other ways to support your learning. So what you’re saying is totally normal and correct.

It also sounds like you are describing being a visual learner and there isn’t a lot of visual support in most of the curriculum. It’s best to support this with other resources that might have more visual aids.

For example the Python for Everybody legacy curriculum has a lot more visual support in this sense.

Thanks a lot! Sometimes the motivation goes away, but I really want to learn it, so I go on. Maybe I haven’t found the “perfect” way for me. What helped you to understand it better? Also if someone else has suggestions what helped them, let me know! I’m gonna check the python legacy out, and also go on with the front end libraries certification. I think you’re just right, and I have to learn that there are no “shortcuts” in learning to code.

  1. I wish they teach this to every kid across globe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKvK2foOTJM&t=9s&ab_channel=TEDxTalks

  2. If you’re ADDICTED to watching shorts on YT, IG or any other such social media, do STOP ASAP.

Watching short videos is not good for brain aka mental health
