Let's discuss your "Personal Portfolio Webpage"

Project Link Portfolio Page

I am not sure which color to use for the text. I have settled for white, but am not sure whether it’s really readable.

I like the hover effect on the pictures. But what you could improve is to make the divs containing the links clickable. Currently, you have to hover exactly over the texts to be able to follow a link.

I think that is confusing for an user.

Hey, you forgot to add target="_blank" to the link to your linked-in-profile, so it won’t work with a normal click.

I like the the design with the pictures and they also response nicely when adjusting the width of the monitor. But shouldn’t they be clickable? And only the second in the first row has a border, which makes it not fit with the other ones.

Maybe also change the cursor of the mouse when hovering over the submit button or give it another effect. Right now an user won’t really see whether it’s clickable.

Hope that wasn’t too much critique

Totally, should have fixed that ages ago. Thanks for the catch!

Hi everyone!

I’ve slowly built my portfolio page and intend to continue building it up as I learn more.

I would really appreciate any and all feedback. Thankyou for your time.

I think it looks nice if you center the icons(Instagram, git-hub and twitter) on the foot and looks like there is a space on the left side of header that maybe you want to remove?

So cool to see everyone’s projects. Here’s mine :grinning: My portfolio site

I used Bootstrap and a javascript library called typed.js to animate the typing!

Very cool! I also really like that you had functioning examples with explanations. I have been struggling to decide what to do there with my limited experience, but you have given me some great ideas.

I have done a very basic Portfolio page if anyone can looks at it and see if they would change anything.

I know its not much to look at and I could probably spend more time on it to make it look better but I met the basic criteria and while learning more I will be going back hopefully and tweaking it here and there.

Hello not bad for a start my suggestion is to wrap each placeholder into col-md-2 div’s so they will take all width of the row or you can use bootstrap thumbnail class.

Hello everyone,
here’s my first ever portfolio,
[https://codepen.io/vistapuri/full/Nabrve/]
tell me what yall think.
I made a small resolution page, read somewhere its better to make a smaller size one so it’s more responsive (maybe i imagined this, i dont know, lol.
When I opened the full page on my laptop tho (without zooming in), the navigation ended up on the far right outside the page. Does it happen on your browser too? any idea to overcome this?
Thank you,

Here is my personal portfolio webpage. I’d really love some feedback.

  1. Can someone offer me a link on how I can make it more responsive on smaller screens - my navbar won’t collapse on a smaller screen and I’d like to learn how to make my social media buttons look nicer?
  2. How can I make the hamburger button collapse the navbar on the second click?

Thanks for your help!

Working on improving it. I’ll update my portfolio section once I complete them.
Feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey rinem,

I like it! …nice smooth scrolling and colors selection. Next thing that I would do on it is to make it responsive, so it’ll look nice on smaller screens as well. Further I would add a print screen or picture as a preview to the portfolio items with content.

Stay tuned!

Hey folks! Check out my new Personal Portfolio!
I’ll be glad for any feedback :sunglasses:
