Nice project to see - tribute to Bill Gates.
Good use of Bootstrap.
I think that in Codepen you can divide css and js from html, also there is a link to bootstrap automatically when you create a pen in Codepen in Settings - CSS - Quick add - there is a link to Bootstrap.

Good to see.
Black letters on dark bordo backgraund are not well visible. Try white or some light color for letters.
