Not sure if this is a new problem related to the roll-out or not. The internal anchor element link in this lesson navigates to the new FCC homepage. https://learn.freecodecamp.org/#footer is the url that shows up in the new window. I tested on both Chrome and Firefox, but still had the same issue. Any thoughts?

Read the 1st instruction again. You did not do something it asks you to do.

Change your external link to an internal link by changing the href attribute to “#footer” and the text from “cat photos” to “Jump to Bottom”.

I passed the lesson. However, the internal link still does not work. Do you think this is some sort of intended limitation?

It seems to be a bug in the new curriculum.
