What element does the challenge ask you to add the id to?

You have added the id to an h2 element

The footer tag should have an id attribute set to “footer”

What’s the footer tag in your code?

if possible please send the correct code or indicate my errors so i can correct it

You have not added the id to the correct element, so I am trying to see how much help you actually need or if you can figure it out yourself.

So, can you tell me which one of the elements in your code is the footer element? It is fine also if you can’t, but please say so

kindly scrool down to view the footer element

so, now that you have found the footer element you need to add the id to that element instead of the h2 element

i havent found the footer element

you just told me to scroll down to find it…

Anyway, this is your footer element:

As you can see it doesn’t have an id. You need to add the id here.

i honestly did not know it was down. i was just been sarcastic

Yeah, well, sarcasm doesn’t work well in written form…

Sorry if I was confusing you, I was genuinely trying to get how much you understood of the task, before giving you some help
