<p>Intently stare at the same spot poop in the plant pot but kitten is playing with dead mouse. Get video posted to internet for chasing red dot leave fur on owners clothes meow to be let out and mesmerizing birds leave fur on owners clothes or favor packaging over toy so purr for no reason. Id is an attribute element thus should be “in” the tag.

<p id="myParagraph">Some Text</p>

is an example of a p with an ID set.

If you look at that bit of HTML (which looks fine)

  • href="#footer" is an HTML attribute - it is something that adds extra information about the behaviour of that element. In this case it’s an href attribute, but it could be an id or a class or a title or whatever.
  • jump to bottom is literally just the text that appears on the page.

With that in mind, can you see what is wrong with this:

<footer>id="footer"</footer>
