Link to internal sections of a Page_with Anchor Elements

Despite using the following code. I am taken to a new window of the freecodecamp website.
I’d appreciate any help here (happens in FireFox and Chrome ).

The code used:

Could you post a link to the challenge you’re doing?

Sure, here it is:

https://learn.freecodecamp.org/responsive-web-design/basic-html-and-html5/link-to-internal-sections-of-a-page-with-anchor-elements

Clicking the link that’s in the Browser view (right third) of the page does open a new window with the list of Curriculum. Using Firefox.

I created a new page using Codepen and cut/pasted your code into that new page. It works fine.

I think there is something in the background that runs the FCC training pages that makes the Browser views not always work.

I think this is just a bug in the code. There’s an open issue already, so they’re aware and working on it!
