Lists in Python and Amortized Analysis

I want to know the order of complexity of using a “list” in python. I understand that it is a dynamic array. Does such analysis entail an amortized analysis? Also, does python allow for simple arrays as in C++ or Java?

Yes, you can make an array using a nested lists. You may prefer to use numpy for this.
