Little language mistakes

On your donation page (https://www.freecodecamp.org/donate/) it sais:

Your $5 donation will provide 250 hours hours of learning to people around the world each month.

The word “hours” occurs twice.

And then:

Confirm your one-time donation of $ 5 / month:

A donation is either one time or monthly, not both.

I’m not going to donate less because of it ; ) but it is distracting.

Thank you so much for all the great work you do!

Here’s another one on https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/how-to-donate-to-free-code-camp/:

How can I set up an Endowment Gift to freeCodeCamp.org?

This would be a huge help. Since this is a more manual process, and I can help walk you through this process personally.

Either the word “since” and a comma, or the word “and”, not both.

Thank you for helping make FCC better. Bugs can be reported as GitHub Issues. Whenever reporting a bug, please check first that there isn’t already an issue for it and provide as much detail as possible.

It’s not an issue with the code, it’s an issue with the English language ; )

Hi @Marmelo !

You can create a github issue for typos too. :grinning:

Welcome,

This was just recently fixed (not in production yet): fix(client): remove extra ‘hours’ from /donate page by jmadankumar · Pull Request #41113 · freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp (github.com)
