please do I need help

A value is literally the value of the selection elements like <input>, <textarea>, <option>, and more. It is what is going to be returned when the element is selected, because It won’t take whatever you write inside it, it will take the value you given it. Ex:

<label><input value="hello">This is an input</label>
<!-- When you pick this input, the value that it will return is "hello" not "this is an input"-->
