It’s actually one of the best portfolios I’ve ever seen. Everything is kept within the container, you have used a nice colour scheme. My on recommendation is to make the navbar height a bit smaller.

Do you mean make the entire navbar area smaller or just the fixed navbar in blue?
Fixed navbar blue, but that is just my opinion, you don’t have to change it if you feel I’m wrong.
