Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

Did you start at the beginning of the curriculum? That should give you what you need. Sure, sometimes you need to google a thing or two, but the core of what you need should be in the lessons that preceded this or the description of this one.

In any case, your issue is here:

  src/="https://bit.ly/smilling dog.com/=
  alt=fcc-relating cat

I spread it out to multiple lines to make it easier to read.

You have a > after the img that snouldn’t be there. You have / before the = in two places where it shouldn’t be. You have the wrong url. Your alt value doesn’t have quotes around it.

You were given a sample of what it should look like in the description:

  alt="A business cat wearing a necktie."

Notice the differences here. (It doesn’t matter that I spread it out on 4 lines, it can be on one like just fine.)

So, I would just cut and paste the sample and then change it to the correct url (read the description, it tells you exactly what url to use) and then change the alt to something appropriate.
