Make an background image NOT responsive (solved)

Hello everyone, i am having a problem that I can’t find help for.
I have a web page with buttons that when clicked expand text. They are working fine but when they expand their text it warps the background behind it.
How do i set the background so that it will stay still no matter what is on top of it?

Nevermind, I figured it out. I am posting in case this comes up in a google search in the future.

Add
Position: relative;
the the CSS of the image.
