Marching to the beat of a different drummer

So we all more or less know which tools we’re going to work with during our stay at Free Code Camp, but what are your thoughts about tools that never quite grabbed the limelight? Does anyone prefer to use less or stylus instead of sass? Foundation instead of Bootstrap? Brunch or Broccoli instead of Gulp? Why do you choose these alternatives? Weigh in here.
