Markdown Previewer - Full screen help

Tell us what’s happening:

I’ve been trying to integrate the maximise and minimise buttons from the Markdown example into my code, however I’m having an issue where the maximise button in the preview container will not work but I can’t for the life of me figure out why. The editor container button works, and if I switch the functions around in the code, the editor button works in maximising the preview side.
Can anyone spot whats going on?

NB: excuse the rough script and design! Planning on neating it up once I’ve got the funcitonality working.
