Meta Data or Long FileNames - whats BEST

I started using detailed filenames for ALL my files, Videos, Pics, Music… etc
The FN is handy in so many ways … yet most techies Hate 'em… Why?
I put the Geo-Location in the name…
I put the play start point, duration, speed and more in the video name.

THEY are much easier to read that MetaData.

Of Course, you need a great search / media player to take full advantage of FNs

Transaction descriptions could well use the geo-location info

What rubbish metadata is.

Most of the time I could care less about; type, size and date modified…

Give me the long names.
