My blue is blue but it wants blue? (Please read my code)

Tell us what’s happening:
I’ve set the CSS style of my h2 to blue just like the instructions asked, but it keeps telling me my h2 needs to be set to blue. Am I crazy? I feel like I’m crazy.

  **Your code so far**
<!-- This is the bit that I was meant to add -->
<style>
h2 {
  color: blue;
}
</style>

<!-- And I was told to remove the style attribute from the h2 element, which I did -->

Challenge: Use CSS Selectors to Style Elements

Link to the challenge:

do you have a dark mode extension? that would make the tests fail

No. Freaking. Way.

I mean it makes sense because the extension adjusts colors and etc but I’m amazed that’s what the problem is. I just disabled my dark mode extension and voila, it accepted it!

Thank you so much for your quick response and for being right on the first go!

it’s often the cause… a lot of the css challenges can fail for that. One challenge also for the ad-block

freecodecamp has a dark mode you can switch on in the settings

Yup, I noticed that when poking around to find a help link. I’ll keep my extensions disabled while I keep learning! Thanks again for your help!
