My younger brother came to me recently (he’s 16) and told me that he wants to learn programming. He’s asked me for some tips. I’m not sure how best to help him. Can you guys give me some tips?
Programming is such a big field.
First, try to narrow it down. Ask him what kind of programming he wants to do.
PC Games? Windows programs? Mac programs? Websites? An Android or iPhone App?
That said, it wouldn’t hurt to start with the basics of programming/computer science concepts.
