Challenge: Profile Lookup

Link to the challenge:

if (contacts[i].firstName===name&&prop===contacts[i].lastName) {
return contacts[i].lastName;
}
else if(contacts[i].firstName===name&&prop===“likes”){
return contacts[i].likes;

can’t work

Welcome, hahahe.

Take a look at the example call to the function as well as the tests:

lookUpProfile("Akira", "likes");

Now, remember, a major part of programming is to not repeat code. You should not be hardcoding anything like this:

prop==="likes"

Try to find a way to work the code such that anything can be passed into the parameter prop, and you will return the property passed’s value

Hope this helps
