# Need help with CodeRoad

Hello community!

I want to start this [courses](https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/how-to-run-freecodecamps-relational-databases-curriculum-using-docker-vscode-and-coderoad) locally (because it doesn’t seems to work online), but I’m stuck with CodeRoad.

What I did:

- cloned the git repo
- build a docker image from the docker file, using the command `docker build .` inside the `/rdb-alpha` repository. To achieve it, I needed to modify Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 in the Dockerfile because I encountered errors. I also commented the line 12 `RUN yes | unminimize` which also was responsible of an error.
- installed CodeRoad extension `v0.19.4`
- start CodeRoad in a coderoad empty repository located at `/rdb-alpha/project`

Then put the URL of a course in the CodeRoad extension window, for instance [https://raw.githubusercontent.com/freeCodeCamp/learn-bash-by-building-a-boilerplate/main/tutorial.json](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/freeCodeCamp/learn-bash-by-building-a-boilerplate/main/tutorial.json)

And what I get is an error message:

Finally, after restarting CodeRoad, I access to the instruction, but without any files in my project directory, and I can’t really complete the course.

Can anyone please help me understand what’s going on?

- have you tried watching that video for that article? that might be useful to solve this issue
