Hello there.

Do you have a question?

If so, please edit your post to include it in the Tell us what’s happening section.

The more information you give us, the more likely we are to be able to help.

2 issues here:

  1. Your text should be ‘Jump to the bottom’
  2. Your footer formatting is wrong. It should be like:
<footer>i am a footer</footer>

For number 2 I answered

Cat Photo App it still says im wrong?

What is your updated code?

on the last step of The footer tag should have an id attribute set to “footer”. i answered Cat Photo App and it still marks wrong

<footer>cat photo app</footer>

What is your full current code?

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

Your footer should have an id=‘footer’

It looks like you’re missing

Then add an id attribute with a value of footer to the <footer> element at the bottom of the page.

i did that just now and its still saying its wrong

<footer>id=¨footer¨</footer>

Three issues:

  1. The id needs to be inside your opening footer tag

  2. You removed the footer text

  3. Your special ¨ quotation marks should be normal quotation marks "

As before, please include your full code
