Nest an Anchor Element within a Paragraph- Nesting Issues

Tell us what’s happening:

My results say that my code is failing because " Your a element should be nested within your new p element" and " Your p element should have the text “View more " (with a space after it).” I have tried several methods for fixing my nesting, and I have tried adding an extra space to the View More part.

Your code so far

  <a href="" target="_blank">cat photos</a>
<img src="" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p>Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>
<p>View more <a target="_blank" href=""> cat photos</a> </p>

Yeah, this particular challenge has gets way trickier than necessary. I think all you need to do is wrap everything within the

tags and change the Anchor.

This worked for me.

  <a href="" target="_blank">cat photos</a>

Thank you, your solution worked. Was the issue with my

not being separated by line?
As in does it need to be:
text <a href="link" target="target">cat photos</a>

Can it not be all one line?

It can be in only one line, your issue is that you have two different a elements, there should be only one

I’m seeing the same issue. Very frustrating that I can’t progress beyond this; reset the code, cleared the cache etc.

This is a very old thread, and it’s difficult to help with just a screenshot of a small portion of the code.

Please click the “get help --> ask for help” buttons in the challenge for this. It will open a new topic in the forums that includes all your code.
