New account bringing me back to old account progress?

I wanted to create a new account for FreeCodeCamp since my username wasn’t right, and since they don’t have a username option, i decided to create a new one since i wasn’t that far in, but once i did create a new account ( with the same email) it brought me back to my old progress but said I only had one challenge done instead of the challenges completed in the old account and i just wanted to start fresh and create a New username. any suggestions??
