Does anyone know if we need to complete all of the exercises in the NEW Full Stack Developer Certificate track to qualify for the Exam and get the Certificate? I started FCC 1 year ago and did a lot of the older curriculum. I don’t want to repeat similar exercises if I can. I tried looking for the info on the course page but could not locate the specifics. Thanks!

You can continue with the archived course work.
There is some overlap between the old and new curriculum, so when you start the new curriculum you will find the steps already marked completed.
You can take at look at the new Full Stack Developer progress indicators to see how much of the course work you have already completed.
The exam and certificate that goes with it may not be available until later in the year. This beta course is still a work in progress.
I don’t know if all the course work and final exam is required to qualify for the certificate. That information will become available as the curriculum is fully rolled out.
Happy coding
Very helpful, thank you! I’ll be sure to take a look at the progress indicators and keep my eyes out for updates as they come out.
Edit: The following guidance may be helpful as well regarding expectations for fulfilling certification requirements.

Along the way, you’ll pass dozens of quizzes and exams. And you’ll prove to us — and you’ll prove to yourself — that you’ve mastered these tools and concepts.Toward the end of the curriculum, you’ll build your own unique capstone project that we’ll review and give you feedback on. This will be a project worthy of adding to your professional portfolio.
After you’ve completed the curriculum, passed the final exam, and built your capstone project, you can claim your free verified certification.
Your certification will have its own unique verification URL, unique serial number, and unique QR code. You can add your certification to your résumé, LinkedIn, CV, and portfolio website.

It’s also worth noting that some tasks which you may have completed in the legacy curriculum crop up again in a slightly revised format in the new curriculum. So, even some which are not marked completed for you may be easy to complete by going back over previously completed tasks.
