Hey Everyone,

I am new to freeCodeCamp and just wanted to say hi. I have been in the same administrative job for the past 7.5 years and just feel stuck. I have put up my hand for a department change on 3 separate occasions within the same organisation but it just didn’t seem to work out. I am now looking to work towards a career change that will challenge me but also affords the opportunity of more flexibility. I know it will be hard but I am willing to put in what is required. Super excited for the journey ahead!

Any advice that you could give for a newbie like me?

Welcome to the forum!

Make sure to take your time learning and create a strong foundation in the fundamentals.

Also make sure to build projects after the courses from freeCodeCamp.
When you build your own projects you will learn a lot and research more concepts in programming.
